Thoughts consist of a foundation, illusions consist of air. It is important in life to think about what has substance and consists of real facts, and what does not. Who in life develops too much curiosity about things that could possibly occur, or what could have happened, without dealing with the truth, ultimately deals with thoughts, which are simply not controllable.
If reality would consist of nothing but shortcuts, it could not exist. Because if it would be so, nobody would have any more the necessary understanding to understand reality. Life has needed billions of years to be as we can perceive it today. If it would be the sense of the life to trick itself continuously, it could not not exist in the long run. Reality is simply like a woven net, which is not gladly tricked. By self-generated advantages discontent arises gladly, and discontent is advantageous for nobody.
Words can create illusions of intelligibility.
If you allow your desires to chase after illusions, you are chaining your own mind.
Who strives for something he cannot possess distorts his own wishes.
The tragedy of an illusion is at its core,
because its core must already be anchored in reality.
In theory, no one is better than another, reality only creates an illusion that makes us believe so.
The more you believe in this illusion, the more true it appears to you.
All too often we humans create false images so that we can talk ourselves out of who we really are.
