If sound triggers emotions, we humans would be better off spending more time listening to the sounds of nature. Maybe that’s why we shouldn’t be surprised that the sheer size of many cities creates an alienating effect.
If you understand how music affects you,
you can use it more specifically.
Those who pay more attention to what they hear understand more.
Whoever forgets to enjoy the silence will experience a rather noisy life.
The silence of nature is a “noise”,
that we unfortunately can’t hear in our usual surroundings anymore.
Voices transport emotions,
those who don’t try to engage with them will not hear properly.
Absolute silence does not exist. For whatever reason.
Maybe sounds promote evolution.
